Following the announcement yesterday (May 23) that John Mayer will be headlining Jay Z’s Made In America festival in Los Angeles, Mayer dropped a little surprise on the world by making his cover of Beyoncé’s hit single “XO” available.
French producer Monsieur Adi takes the songs “Blow” and “XO” to the dance floor with EDM-flavored reworks.
What’s better than the unexpected release of Beyoncé’s self-titled “visual” album? Two guys from an a cappella group unexpectedly pulling off the greatest cover of her album in just around five minutes.
“My heart goes out to the families of those lost in the Challenger disaster. The song ‘XO’ was recorded with the sincerest intention to help heal those who have lost loved ones and to remind us that unexpected things happen,” she said.
For the (apparently very few) who have not yet downloaded this landmark album, the visual event is continuing. Beyoncé has made available the videos from the album officially for the first time, starting with “Drunk In Love” and “XO.”
