After last night’s dramatic instant elimination, it was time for America to weigh in on who should continue to the semi-finals.
Imagine singing for millions of people on a reality show. Better yet, imagine singing for Christina Aguilera on a reality show. That is exactly what The Voice contestant Jesse Campbell did last week when he was eliminated from the show.
On Monday’s (April 23) episode of The Voice, Cee-Lo Green hopped out of his judge chair and hit the stage with his Goodie M.O.B. crew. All four members of the Atlanta-based hip-hop group united for a gold-plated reunion.
A few days ago, “The Voice” co-host Cee Lo Green announced that he’s working a duet with his female co-star Christina Aguilera. Last night Christina revealed the title of the track, and shared her excitement about the collaboration.
Another night of The Voice means another night of controversy. On Monday, coach Christina Aguilera shocked many when she cut Jesse Campbell from her team during the instant eliminations. Jesse was widely considered to be the front runner of the entire competition.
The Wanted started a renewed British invasion of the pop charts last night with their performance of new single “Chasing The Sun” on The Voice. The track is a second Ibiza-trance influenced song, marked by it’s relaxed Italo house beat and island drums. The track was just release for sale on Amazon and other digital retailers.
When Carson Daly told AMP/Los Angeles about The Voice’s instant elimination, we had a feeling that things would get cutthroat but we didn’t imagine that the competition would be turned completely upside down.
It may just be unfortunate timing, but Maroon 5 have dropped a break up track called “Payphone” that seems to address singer Adam Levine’s recent heartbreak at the end of his relationship with model Anne Vyalitsyna.
The contestants on The Voice are in the middle of an intense battle to win the approval of the coaches and the viewers; every performance is a nerve racking do-or-die scenario, but two of next week’s performers aren’t too worried about impressing the coaches, because they are coaches!
