It’s the most wonderful time of year– 96.5 TIC and DeCormier Nissan are proud to present the All-Star Christmas, starring Train, Daughtry, Ingrid Michaelson, Matt Nathanson and Echosmith!
It seems like a match made in heaven. Daughtry has been a fixture on the rock and adult contemporary circuit since the release of the group’s self-titled debut album in 2006, and the Goo Goo Dolls have been a mainstay for even longer, thanks to hits like “Iris” and “Slide,” which are still getting spins to this day.
“The songs are very much what I do lyrically and melodically. It’s real and authentic. This is where I am right now.”
“He’s one of the biggest inspirations honestly of why I wanted to try out,” Phillips says of one pas contestant.
Chris Daughtry might be teaming up with Batman for a new endeavor, but he’s not looking to defeat the Joker. Instead he’s planning to fight hunger in Africa.
Chris Daughtry had one easy task: write a song for charity. The only catch was it had to be inspired by the words “pacific standard time.” The song Daughtry came away with for Esquire Magazine’s Songwriting Challenge was, “4:00 A.M.” a modest lullaby that has him scaling back from his usual rock anthems.
Last week 965 TIC hosted our Acoustic Cafe with DAUGHTRY, and now we’ve got a special treat for all you fans– videos of all three songs from the performance!
Tonight is the big night– our Acoustic Cafe with DAUGHTRY takes place tonight at 5:30pm… keep checking back here on 965tic.com for photos, and be sure you follow us on Twitter (@965tic) for live updates from the show! What songs do YOU think DAUGHTRY will play tonight?
