Christina Perri is making her way back to the 96.5 TIC Acoustic Cafe this October!
Christina Perri is gearing up for extended time on the road. Having just wrapped her North American tour, Perri will join OneRepublic and Demi Lovato on their respective tours starting in August and running through October, with additional dates to come.
The singer/songwriter has reportedly been harassed for over a year.
“I didn’t want to do anything that wasn’t genuine, and I was afraid of phoning it in or forcing anything,” Christina Perri said. “A lot of times our dreams aren’t where we grew up. We have to go find them.”
“I remember the first moment my song was on the radio so well,” Perri told Radio.com. “It is probably one of my favorite stories till this day.”
The soundtrack will also include songs from Lily Allen, M Ward, Beck and Christina Perri.
Today, (Jan. 6) she revealed the track listing to her upcoming album head or heart which features “Be My Forever” with Ed Sheeran.
“It’s exactly what I hoped it would be, the way it came out. It has one of those genuine stories for me. It was meant to be on this album. It was just bigger than me. It became a part of my life.”
“I was like, ‘This has to be a duet and it has to be with Ed Sheeran. Please! He’s my number one choice and it’s all I want,'” Perri said.
Christina Perri has been working on the follow-up to her 2011 debut, ‘lovestrong,’ for the last two years. But she’s finally ready to let her fans hear what she’s come up with.
