“This is video is going to have some special effects,” said Furtado. “We’re going to have some real interesting, cute creations with headlights. It’s going to be kind of surreal.”
Although Nelly Furtado has been quiet the last few years, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy. Now, she’s making a comeback in a big way with her new single “Big Hoops (Bigger The Better).”
“I think there comes a time in your life where it’s good to dream and it’s good to have goals; then the goals don’t end there,” Nelly Furtado said in an interview with 97.1 AMP/Los Angeles. “It’s not like a ladder where you climb to the top of the ladder and just sit there and look at the rooftop. It doesn’t really work that way.”
After a three year break, Nelly Furtado is back and ready to rock out just for you LIVE at the Red Bull Sound Space at AMP Radio/Los Angeles.
A fierce looking Nelly Furtado makes her first appearance walking on stilts at the entrance of her new music video “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better).” The debut single off her forthcoming fifth album, The Spirit Indestructible, the Rodney Jerkins produced track embodies Furtado’s familiar vocals alongside bass heavy beats.
It’s been a while since we heard from neo-hippie turned dance-diva Nelly Furtado in English. Six years since the collaboration with Timbaland that produced 2006’s sexually charged double-platinum “Loose” with it’s smash singles “Promiscuous”, “Maneater” and “Say It Right.” For 2012, Ms. Furtado is back with “Big Hoops (The Bigger The Better),” the first single from her upcoming fifth album, The Spirit Indestructible.
