Bieber was reportedly unhurt, but his Ferrari suffered a large dent on its bumper.
According to the sheriff’s department in Hollywood, no one has yet been found at fault.
After the incident, Bieber took to his Twitter to express his concern and make comparisons to the 1997 death of Princess Diana, who died as a result of injuries suffered after a car accident in the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris, France, believed to be caused by the paparazzi.
“There should be laws against what I just experienced,” he wrote. “We should have learned from the death of Princess Diana….”
