We’re entering Spring and Summer, and losing those layers, so it’s time to start looking lighter for those new outfits. Women have a love-hate relationship with Spanx, because while they’re one of the best support garments out there, they can be really uncomfortable, but there are pieces of shape wear out there which are very flattering and do what they’re supposed to do, and Debbie is here to share some tips to find the best shape wear for you.
1. Know What You Need
Plan ahead with your shopping trip– are you looking for a specific piece to match a dress for a special event, or for an everyday item? You should start with a professional, to get measured and figure out what your options are.
2. Identify Problem Areas
There are panties that smooth out your hips and butt, and midriff pieces that smooth out the middle… make sure you target the right body parts to make you look your best.
3. Make Sure it Fits
If you’re putting on the shape wear garment and it’s too tight, to the point of spilling over, leave it alone. Targeting that right body part is important, but getting the right fit is even more important. 99% of women don’t wear the right size under garments, which doesn’t bode well for looking good in your clothes.
