Top 5 Best Moments at the Oscars
by Bill Sencio
The Oscars last night were full of all the things we love about awards shows– amazing dresses, compelling speeches and performances, a few shocking wins and lots of bizarre moments that can only happen during a live telecast in a room full of hungry celebs. Here’s our favorite moments from last night…
5. Jennifer Lawrence Stays Trippy
There are few actresses as cool and endearing as Jennifer Lawrence, but she really needs to work on her balance! Last year, she had her infamous trip on stage as she walked up to pick up her Best Actress Award. This year– despite looking stunning in her strapless red Dior gown– J-Law tripped again… this time on the Red Carpet!
4. Bill Murray’s Tribute to Harold Ramis
Bill Murray got one of the biggest cheers of the night as he presented the nominees for Best Cinematography alongside Amy Adams. After listing the nominees, Murray went off script and added “Oh, we forgot one… Harold Ramis, for Caddyshack,Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day.”
The two former Ghostbusters had a long standing feud over the past decade, making Murray’s nod to his recently lost friend all the sweeter.
3. The Selfie Shared ‘Round the World
Ellen DeGeneres did a great job keeping the Oscars light, fun and more socially connected than ever before. While her pizza stunt was delightfully silly, the infamous selfie she took with Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Jared Leto and even more celebs in the front rows of the theatre became the most-shared selfie of all time in a matter of minutes!

2. Is That a Burrito in Your Clutch, or Are You Just Happy to See Me?
Kristen Bell looked incredible last night, but the Veronica Mars star reminded us of exactly why we love her on Twitter before she even got to the Red Carpet.

Maybe that’s why she politely passes on Ellen’s pizza?
1. Benedict Cumberbatch Wins Photobombs Forever
While the selfie was the most-talked about pic of the night, Benedict Cumberbatch had the coolest pic of the event. On the Red carpet prior to the show, the 12 Years a Slave star photobombed U2, and it was AMAZING! Leaping high into the air, Cumberbatch made a great silly face as Bono and the boys smiled unknowingly for the cameras. It’s definitely the most LOL worthy moment on a night that was surprisingly packed with them!
