Music Educators Award Nominee Ken Knappenberger Speaks at the GRAMMYs

You never know when a story is going to melt your heart, and one of them is Ken Knappenberger, who sat down with Damon and Gina backstage at the GRAMMYs.

Knappenberger is a teacher at Westfield Academy and Central School in Westfield, NY, and he is one of ten finalists– chosen from over 30,000 nominees– for the first ever Music Educators Awards presented by the Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Foundation.

If he wins the award on Sunday, Knappenberger will bring home not only the trophy, but $10,000 for his school!  He spoke about how he got involved in the great new program, and his 25-year experience as an educator.  Check out the full interview below… and Click Here for more information on the Music Educators Award.
