If her love was “Clarity,” what would you say? Damon and Gina sit down backstage at the GRAMMYs with FOXES!
UK artist Foxes (AKA Louisa Rose Allen) sat down to chat with Damon and Gina, even at the risk of messing up her hombre hair (or bleach, as they call it in England). That’s not the only difference in England– they also don’t have Twizzlers, apparently. It’s possible they don’t need any more sugar to damage the notoriously bad British teeth, but Foxes believes those teeth give you character.
Foxes appeared on the recent Zedd album, although she was only featured on “Clarity.” But she has her own album coming out this Spring, which she is very excited for. “It’s got a little bit of everything, it’s quite anthemic, cinematic… it’s a pop album,” she said. “[It’s] festival, hands in the air, but not EDM.”
The 23 year old artist started with music when she was very young. “I was banging pots and pans when I was four… I think I sung a Disney song before I spoke the words,” she recalled. “I found my way to London and started writing lots of different crap songs, then finally I wrote some good ones, I think. And now I’m here.” With a hit song under her belt already and a new solo album about to drop, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Foxes up for a GRAMMY of her own next year!
