There’s no better time than the New Year for resolutions, and Debbie Wright is here with 5 Style Resolutions you can make for 2014 to be a fresh and fashionable year!

1.  Get Real in Your Closet

This is such a great time to edit and purge from the closet.  Go through your closet and just get rid of stuff you don’t want… it just creates clutter and that doesn’t help anybody.

2.  Rotate Your Closet

So many people wear the same things over and over again and never wear most of the pieces they already own.  Use a trick like turning the hanger backward after you wear something to help spotlight the pieces you don’t wear all the time.

3.  Change It Up

Another thing a lot of people fall victim to is wearing the same blouse with the same skirt, or the same colors… it’s a routine and it gets boring.  We have more outfits in our own closet than we realize, we just need to pair things differently.  Wear that blouse with a different bottom for a whole new look without having to buy anything new.

4.  Try a New Trend

There’s great new pastels starting to hit stores now, new lengths for skirts… the sky is the limit when it comes to new fashion.  Try a new trend, buy a new color… wake up your wardrobe!

5.  Make Your Own Mannequin

Many women go to the store and buy a lot of the same thing, but if you see an outfit in a catalog or online, print it out and bring it with you to the store to try and duplicate that outfit.  Create a new look that you love!
