Last week, Carolyn offered some Holiday hints on how to give the gift of green this year, and she’s back again with more great health-oriented gifts… now in class form! Carolyn breaks down some fun and trendy classes, all of which you can purchase a gift certificate to attend. You don’t even have to have a gym membership to attend most of these cool classes!
1. Hot Hula
Shake up your workout, island style! This class uses traditional Polynesian drum beats and funky Reggae, lots of hip motion and it can really get your energy up. It’s a great core workout.
This class is all about energy, power and rhythm, combining choreographed pilates and yoga set to vibrant music.
3. Vixen Fit
Discover your inner vixen! Using the wall and floor, this routine uses a lot of sensual type movements in the workout.
4. Belly Fusion
This workout combines belly dancing and core muscle conditioning. It’s offered in Egyptian and American Tribal belly dancing styles, combining traditional belly dancing fused in a fitness capacity.
The rock out workout! The exercise is a blend of the Stomp phenomenon and Pilates, using weighted drums and the floor as your drum set. There’s lots of lunges and squats and up-and-down movements as you bring your workout and your musical talents to the forefront together!
