Gadgets, apps and plenty of other shiny things you probably don’t need– Cellular Chloe is here to share the latest and greatest wireless wonders!
The following is a public service announcement from Cellular Chloe:
You know that app SnapChat, where you take a photo or video that gets erased after the recipient gets it? There’s a hack for that– Snap Hack will grab that photo so it no longer disappears. When you send a picture to someone on SnapChat, it lets you know if the person tries to do a screen shot, and if and when they open it. This new app has nothing to do with SnapChat, so it will retrieve and collect the photos without you even knowing it. And the app is only 99 cents, so it’s gonna be pretty prevalent, most likely.
Also, Google is going to start sharing their endorsements– this means they can use your face and your name in their advertising. This is something Facebook has been toying with, but that’s still in limbo. Google starts for real on November 11th. But Cellular Chloe has a link on her blog, which will guide you to go in to shared endorsements and click “off” if you don’t want to be included.
There are a couple browsers you can use, so as not to have them compile your information. For Android you can install Orbot and Onion Browser is for iPhone. Both apps will stop anything from picking up your searches or things you browse.
Following these simple steps can make sure your online identity stays as private and secure as you’d like.
