Summertime changes the game when it comes to hair styles, so Debbie Wright has some tips on some effortless summer styles that will have you looking– and FEELING– great all season long.

This is the season to embrace your natural hair– wavy, curly, whatever– just let it go!  But be sure to use a leave-in conditioner, or an anti-frizz product.  If you have coarse hair, you might want to inquire about a keratin treatment at your salon.  It will do wonders to help with hot, humid weather, by infusing proteins to your hair.

You can also go with a romantic braid, the perfect look for tousled yet chic style.  If you have longer hair, this is a nice easy braid that you can wear on the back of your neck or over your shoulder, and accent with a headband or a hat.  It’s a loose, comfortable braid that steps away from the tight braid that lifts the hair off your neck and still looks good.

Debbie loves the ballerina bun, which is a high bun at the crown of the head, which many celebs have been sporting this summer.  You’ll need at least shoulder length hair, pulled into a pony tail at the crown, then you split the pony tails into three sections and tease it, then wrap it around and hold it with some bobby pins.  It’s an easy look, and it looks great paired with earrings and a nice lipstick.  It’s perfect for a summer at the office, or at the beach, and it looks great.
