If you’re looking for love, then listen up– Jaimy Blazynski, the Date Doctor is here!
Jaimy gets a lot of great questions on her Facebook page, and she decided to answer some of them in this week’s segment. Hear her advice for listeners and fans’ questions!
Chrissy asks: I’m really into this new boyfriend, but he lives at home and works seasonal. Before I go any further with him we need to talk about him setting goals. Where do I begin?
You do NOT begin lecturing your new boyfriend. If he doesn’t meet up to your standards, it’s a dealbreaker for you. You can leave, but the guy lives at home– the last thing he needs is another mother. It’s a total turnoff.
Jimmy asks: I’ve been suspecting my new girlfriend has been cheating from the start. When I searched Match.com, sure enough– there she was. She claims she didn’t know it was visible… is this possible?
It is possible, there are still people on Match so dumb they don’t realize you have to hide your profile in order for people not to see it. When your membership expires, you can still be visible on there. You can, however, tell if someone is still using it, because it will say active.
He knew from the start he shouldn’t trust her, so this was just another reason. He went searching for this to validate his fears, and he got exactly what he was looking for.
Evan asks: What is the best way to greet your first date with somebody you’ve been chatting with online?
A hug or a handshake are perfectly acceptable… Jaimy believes that if a guy is cute and confident, she personally loves getting greeted with a hug. But this varies for everyone, and it’s hard for the guy to know if a girl thinks he’s cute. Just be yourself– if you’re a hugger, then hug her. However you greet her, as long as you do it with confidence it’s not going to make or break anything.
