Totally T-Boz, the reality mini-series recently wrapped up last month. The show featured the everyday life of T-Boz as she lives with sickle-cell anemia and continues with her music career after TLC.
“I am not sure I thought it was a good platform because I turned down a lot of other reality shows. I wasn’t interested in none of what they were talking about,” T-Boz told Damon. “But this one fell into my lap and it kind of had substance. They wanted to talk about real things. Maybe I could share my life with sickle cell and a brain tumor and help people.”
While T-Boz noted that she was generally happy of the end result, she wishes they would have left in some of the lighter moments during the series’ four episode run. “The only thing I didn’t like was that they took out some of the fun stuff, and I am such a fun person,” said T-Boz. “Laughter is the best medication you can ever have on the planet.”
T-Boz recently released a new single for charity titled “Champion.” “I want people to support it because the proceeds go to children with sickle cell and leukemia,” she explained. “It’s a nice bumpin’ beat, but a good message. I believe champions are not born, they are made. Anyone who was gone through any obstacle… you are a champion. If you have done that that is what this song is for.”
“Champion” is available everywhere including iTunes and Amazon!
