The Voice Pays Tribute To Newtown Shooting Victims

Before NBC’s hit show The Voice kicked off their final performance show of the season, they opened with a moving tribute to the victims of Friday’s horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. With the four judges trading lines of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, all of the contestants from the season along with hosts Carson Daly and Christina Milian served as background singers.

Each victim was represented with candles in front of the stage and by each singer holding a card that included a name and age.

It was an incredibly emotional tribute that you need to see.
