Ann Curry cried this morning while she said goodbye after one year as co-host of NBC’s Today show, saying “this is not as I expected to ever leave this couch after 15 years.”

“For all of you who saw me as a groundbreaker, I’m sorry I couldn’t carry the ball over the finish line but, man, I did try.” Things were a bit awkward since Matt Lauer didn’t want her as his co-host.

Ann will lead a reporting team for NBC as an anchor-at-large for national and international correspondence. Savannah Guthrie is expected to replace Curry.

Sources say that Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are definitely dating and have been since last year when they were doing a promotional tour for Rum Diary. He’s 49 and she’s 26… and Amber recently broke up with her girlfriend so maybe it’s getting serious between the two… yes, she’s bisexual.

Snoop Dogg was detained at an airport in Norway this morning after customs officers discovered marijuana!!! Noooooo, really??? Snoop was stopped at customs and officials discovered 8 grams of weed. He had to pay a fine of $1,980.13.

She got drunk on a plane to Atlanta: “It was on an empty stomach, and before I got on the plane a gentleman came up to me and asked me how my brother was doing and told me about his brother having MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and directed me towards a website. “On the plane I started looking at the website. It described how bad certain cases of MS got, and it made me lose it because I’ve sat through my mother having breast cancer, my dad almost dying from a bike accident, and now it’s my brother who’s my best friend. “I lost it,” Kelly frankly admitted.
