Mother’s Day is Sunday…what is your favorite memory of mom? I love how she would tuck me in to bed every night and say, “see you in the morning when the sunshine’s bright… don’t let the little bed bugs bite, good night!”

I love how she ALWAYS encouraged my creativity, NEVER put me down, & cared for me when I was sick. I love how she REALLY CARES when I call her to tell her about mundane stuff in my life and how she cried happy tears when she became a Grandma… or “Ema” as my boys now call her.  I love how she has helped me become a better person by setting the greatest example.

She is my advisor, my mentor, my friend, my defender, and she catches me when I fall. All I want to do is be the kind of mom to my boys that she has been and continues to be to me. I love you, mom and Happy Mother’s Day.  Here are a few of my favorite ‘motherhood’ moments over the years…. featuring my mom, grandma, mother-in-law and of course, my boys!
