Disney’s Imagination Movers are bringing their Rock-O-Matic Tour to Connecticut this Sunday for two shows, and the main Mover Scott Durbin talked about the gigs with Damon this afternoon!  The Imagination Movers have some serious concert competition this weekend, with Nickelback appearing in Hartford but Scott certainly didn’t seem worried.

“I think the Imagination Movers could take Nickelback any day of the week!” asserted Scott– the Movers’ is a great first concert for a whole family to enjoy together. Damon, however has learned from experience that while going with the family is awesome… being a middle-aged man sitting alone at the show is a surefire way to wind up getting a call from Dateline.

What make the Imagination Movers different than some other family-friendly bands is they’re authentic. The bandmates have grown up together and been friends for a long time before the band came to be.  Scott’s philosophy for the band is summed up in one of their creedo’s– give more than you receive.  Damon’s a big fan of the Movers’ other creedo, that there’s no occasion where a blue jumpsuit doesn’t look good.  “We are TOTALLY the Blue Jumpsuit Group!” exclaims the frontman.

As for this weekend’s two shows at the Toyota presents Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Scott promises it will be a rocking good time, and one that’s guaranteed to tucker out their younger fans in Connecticut. “I can guarantee you that you will have an exhausted kid who goes to sleep with a huge smile on their face because they rocked out with Mom, Dad and the Movers.”

Be sure to check out the Imagination Movers Rock-O-Matic tour live when they perform two shows at the Toyota presents Oakdale Theater this Sunday April 29th!  Click here for more info on the shows!!
