Lady Gaga STILL Doesn’t Want You To Be Haters, Strives To Make Bullying At Hate Crime

It’s up to you to get the message against bullying out; to support your fellow “freaks;” to love and embrace the individuality of people around you; to act with conscientiousness and compassion. Or at least, that’s what your Mother Monster, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm], is trying to instill in you. This weekend, Lady Gaga was honored with the Hero Award by the Trevor Project, a non-profit organization that “crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth” for her profound efforts to stop bullying which includes working with WeStopHate.org, setting up an meeting with Obama’s administration, and creating the Born This Way foundation with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta.

“I want my fans and people all over the world to know that there’s always somebody that’s listening. But I want them to know they’re listening before it gets too late,” said Gaga.

Gaga also tweeted an incredibly moving video by a young man who was a victim of bullying since the first grade.
