Talk about one of your all-time multifaceted performers, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Beyoncé[/lastfm] is not only set to release her fourth studio album (aptly titled 4) on June 28 with a supporting European tour kicking off next week, but she also just announce details of her newest scent addition, Pulse, to her growing perfume line. Her new scent is her third fragrance in addition to the seductive Heat and Heat Rush, and is all about instilling confident and empowerment for women.
As one of the hardest working women in music, Beyoncé has mastered the skill of multitasking and flawlessly executing numerous projects at the same time. Her highly anticipated fourth album is set to release at the end of June with preparations for her European tour in effect, but Bey has managed to squeeze in another business venture on top of it all.

In addition to being a skilled songwriter who methodically composes the elements of her music together, she’s also using the same process for creating the perfect scents. Her latest creation, Pulse, is a sweet, floral-citrus scent that’s set to hit stores in September and hopefully inspire confidence in women worldwide.
“Women always tell me that my music makes them feel strong and confident, and Pulse is about finding that inner power,” Beyoncé told Elle magazine. “Pulse represents the woman I am on stage. When I think about excitement, it makes me think about my heart racing and a pulsating beat—it’s my stage persona.”
Like her empowering music and latest anthem “Girls (Who Run The World),” Beyoncé knows the importance of looking, feeling and smelling your best, and hopes her new scent will leave a lasting impression and feeling of confidence in all who wear it.
