superbowl Boy Returns Super Bowl Ring To Refrigerator Perry

$8,500 is all someone needs to buy their own Super Bowl ring now a days.  Cliff Forest, Jr. of Chapel, Pa. took that money out of his college fund to buy the Super Bowl ring of William “The Refrigerator” Perry.  After some deep thinking, the boy just couldn’t keep it.

According to Yahoo, after buying the Super Bowl ring, Cliff learned that Perry, who won the Super Bowl with the Bears in 1985, has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, and thought that “The Fridge” would like the ring more than he would.

“He only played in one Super Bowl,” Cliff said. “I thought he would want it more than I did.”

While he may be out of $8,700, he did end up with two autographed jerseys from Perry that were inscribed with “The Fridge, Thanks!”
