What was supposed to be the songbird and fiance’s happiest moment of their lives, was tarnished by home intruders who invaded [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Michael Bublé[/lastfm]’s home during his extravagant wedding weekend.
Bublé and his longtime girlfriend Luisana Loreley Lopilato tied the knot in multiple ceremonies and celebrations with close friends and family this past weekend, but while they were celebrating their new partnership, robbers were helping themselves to his personal assets. But don’t think that this incident ruined their special day.
According to TMZ, while Michael Bublé and his wife to be were getting ready for their romantic wedding weekend in a hotel in Maximo Paz, burglars invaded his home by disarming the security system and covering up any surveillance cameras on the property.
There’s no word on what the robbers stole or how much, and thankfully no one was hurt during the incident. Despite the unwelcome intrusion in the Bublé-Lopilato home, the new bride didn’t let the burglary get to her, telling local media, “I will not let this ruin the happiest day of my life.”
The couple tied the knot in an intimate civil ceremony last Thursday before celebrating with a second ceremony and reception with 300 or their closest family and friends.
Lopilato wore three gowns during the course of the wedding festivities and the happy newlyweds had their first dance to Dean Martin’s “Everybody Loves Somebody” before Bublé himself serenade his bride with a song especially written for her: “Haven’t Met You Yet.”
