German rockers [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]The Scorpions[/lastfm] have a big concert coming up to celebrate the 80th birthday or former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.

As reported by Perth Now in Australia, the Scorpions’ performance will headline the 80th birthday celebration for Gorbachev, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1990.

Though it may seem that way, the Scorpions aren’t just a random addition to the lineup.

The Scorpions’ 1990 song “Wind of Change,” which chronicled the major political transformations in Europe during Gorbachev’s reign, was a massive hit in Russia and even spawned a Russian-language version.

The party takes place at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 30 and is hosted by actress Sharon Stone. Tickets went on sale back in November with prices as reasonable as $56 and as high as $160,000 for a VIP suite.
