Last.fm‘s countdown of the year’s most-played artists gets a little closer to the top spot this week, as #20 – #11 are revealed today.

Find out which names have jumped up this year, and who has missed out on a spot in the top ten.

From pop divas to rock gods, Best Of 2010 has it covered. Last year the music you played put Lady Gaga at the top of the chart: who will it be this time?

Kylie Minogue
, Kings Of Leon and Linkin Park all bagged a place in the top forty last week, but for artists used to reaching number one the relatively low rankings must have been a wake up call.

Meanwhile the likes of Ke$ha, Beach House, Mumford & Sons and Christina Aguilera have yet to chart. Two of those artists feature in this week’s release, but who are they?

The Last.fm Best of 2010 is based solely on the music that Last.fm listeners play. It doesn’t count re-releases, live albums, compilations or greatest hits collections; just new albums released this year. That means you’re guaranteed a fresh face at the top of this year’s chart.

Find out who’s made it into the top twenty right now. Don’t forget to check back next Wednesday, December 15th, to discover who the most popular artists of the year really are.
